With a very tight deadline, our 3D animation skills were put to the test in creating a lively Fireant for the Department of Primary Industries.

This television campaign was part of an important community project to prevent Fireants spreading throughout Australia.

A 3D skeleton was built, textured, rigged and animated using 3D Studio Max.

For each interview subject, our 3D animation artist Mark Williams animated the skeleton to represent the subjects' body positions at the time of the accident. The animation then tracked in to show a closer detail of the extent of the damage to the spine. Each vertebrae was modelled to realistic anatomical specs.

The final render was then taken into Adobe After Effects, where further effects, such as titles and colour correction were added.

Kingston Park Raceway has imported 25 premium karts from the world famous Rimo factory in Germany. With the stamp of approval from FI ace Ralf Schumacher, these karts have placed KPR at the forefront of world karting for the general public.

Space Labs revolutionary laboratory furniture systems cried out for a graphical and animated treatment as dynamic and exciting as the product.

VMP delivered a stunning promotional dvd greatly assisted by exciting graphics and complex 3D modelling and animation highlighting and complementing their futuristic design concepts.

Filming in Fiji was not an option for VMP in the production of this tvc. But, filming a live model against a blue screen and supplementing with beautiful 3D and 2D images was!

Creative compositing and animation is a highly cost-effective way to create ambience and ethereal scenery.

The major part of this production was acted scenarios. VMP provided a creative alternative to standard ‘dot points’ to deliver key points and information.

Combining traditional images associated with gambling (eg, scratchy, poker machine, keno screen) and the video's chapter titles, VMP created a series of clever transitional title sequences.

The use of 2D compositing within live images creates an additional layer of association to the information being provided.

For the Riva residential apartment project, the VMP post-production team were given the challenge of creating a high rise apartment view that did not yet exist!

Armed with only a camera, blue screen and a talented actress, VMP created a sophisticated tvc that projected a surreal, romantic quality.

The key visual device for the Volvo Competency Platform is a Newton's Cradle, which demonstrates 'action-reaction'.

A combination of 3D Studio Max and After Effects enabled us to shoot impossible and angles of the computer-generated, photo-realistic device in motion.

The Drug Court video was produced by VMP and is designed for both stakeholders and participants of the rehabilitation program.
